O-MAX TRAINING
O-Max is a technique used to
measure and score key performance factors (KPF's) against
developed norms. Ideal for identifying deviations from expected
Throughput in forecasting systems and early warning systems such
as failure prediction.
O-MAX (Objectives Matrix) is used in addition, and in conjunction
to Throughput Accounting and TOC. It is an independent technique
used to measure and score (KPF's) key performance factors
(values) against averages, means or developed norms. One can
quickly identify problems and take corrective action. O-MAX has
been used in failure prediction models (e.g. De La Rey & Altman)
and performance models (e.g. DuPont & CAPM-Capital Asset Pricing
Models with beta coefficients) and is a very powerful technique.
We have used O-MAX and correlated it to profitability by means of
regression analysis, and have reached accuracies of greater than
80% in our failure prediction models 12 months in advance, i.e.
O-MAX enables one to predict failure within one year before it
happens with a high degree of certainty.
The course comprises 2 phases presented separately.
